2023 Loggers Trail Golf Leagues
Loggers Trail host numerous golf leagues. All shapes and sizes; 9-Hole, 18-Hole, Men, Women, Couples, Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Small, Medium, Large, half season, Weekly, Bi weekly, and Monthly. We had 18 golf leagues play at Loggers Trail in 2023. Space is limited in 2023, and is filling up fast. We take great pride in our leagues, and fully realize the value that each and every league brings. With all of our leagues we try and have the same pro shop staff, beverage cart staff, and ranger for your league for the duration of the season. We want to create a familiar experience for your league, and develop a relationship that will better serve your needs.

And our tee times are super flexible, with sign-ups occurring on a Google sheet, so you can maximize your busy schedule. This will also allow you to change the time your play each week or play with new women if you wish.
The season runs for 16 weeks, starting on May 1st and ending on August 28th. And while we’re all about having fun, we still have some friendly competition with weekly games and proximity prizes.

Ladies, let’s make Monday’s fun with our 9-hole golf league at Logger’s Trail!
Men’s Senior Flex League
When: Tuesday and Thursday mornings each week during the golf season.
Loggers Trail is again going to host age 55+ Senior Leagues during the 2023 golf season. The Flex means you can play in either league or both, as often as you want. There will be daily prizes in each league and a season long competition for year-end prizes. The format of the leagues will generally follow the format used by the MGA Senior Tour which uses modified stableford scoring. We will also mix in some other fun games as the season goes on.
Schedule:
The 2023 Season will start when the Staff determines the golf course is ready for play (and the weather cooperates). The starting date will be emailed out to all league players as soon as it is determined.
League banquet: The date for the league banquet will be announced later. Several prizes will be awarded to the top point winners for the season and several great door prizes for league participants. (To be eligible for door prizes a player needs to play at least 8 times during the season.)
Costs: Special Senior League Greens Fees $37 Cart fee: $16 per player (players may walk or ride)
League Registration: $55 Which covers entry into both Tuesday and Thursday leagues and GHIN Handicap. If you have an MGA handicap elsewhere, your registration is $25.
Daily Event Fee: $3
Prizes: Pro Shop prizes will be awarded for daily winners. Season long prizes will be awarded at the end of the year event. The season long prizes will be awarded separately for Tuesday and Thursday league play. Daily prizes will be Pro Shop Credit posted to your account. Pro Shop credit can be used for any Loggers Trail fees or purchases.
Tee Times: For most of the season the first tee time will be 8:30 am. You can show up as an individual or as a group. For individual players, the starter will pair you up. We will have a starter during each round to ensure play gets started and moving accordingly.
The Modified Stableford scoring system is simple. Points are awarded each hole, based on both gross and net score. 1 point for bogey, 2 points for par, 3 points for birdie, 4 points for eagle, and 5 points for double eagle. This is a fun way to score. Make a 10 on a hole and you get 0 points same as a double bogey. One or two bad holes doesn’t ruin the round. It also promotes faster play because if you are having a bad hole you can just put it in your pocket. All you need to do is record your gross score and the Pro Shop will figure out your Stableford points. Just make sure your name on the scorecard is readable.
Points will be awarded based on the number of players each day. For example, if 28 guys show up, 28 points for 1st place, 27 points for 2nd place, and 36 points for 3rd place, all the way down to 1 point for 28th place. Players can continue to accumulate points up to the year-end events.
We are looking forward to a fun year for the Senior Flex Leagues.
Ready to join in on the fun? Email leagues@loggerstrail.com to sign up, and make sure to pay your league dues at https://www.loggerstrail.com/product-category/leagues/
You can also sign up in person through the pro shop prior to or once the season begins.
We will have other updates as the season progresses.
Thank you,
Loggers Trail Staff
